This antique Chinese high yoke back armchair has a back splat adorn with nicely carved dear, crane, flowers on the branch and protruding crest rail. The restoration is intentionally kept to the minimal. The well-aged original finish leaves beautiful patina all over the chairs. The high yoke back armchair was also commonly called 'Official Hat Chair' because of its resemblance to the wing-like brimmed government official hat. This pair armchairs will be an impressive accent chairs in a living room, or dining room, or hall way.
