An exceptional, finely crafted hand carved frame with stepped surround and incised foliate scrolled decoration in the corners. The surface with red gesso and applied gilt and silver gilt, with a central mirror. In the style of the noted artists Prendergast and Kuehne. Artist signed Hal Kuehne 2001 on verso.
