These were … more Stunning pair of super heavy and beautifully hand carved solid wenge bookends, depicting a tribal man and woman! These were absolutely carved with extreme care by a well skilled artisan, and are an absolute treasure.

They measure 8" tall, 5 1/4" wide and 5" deep. As you can see someone placed some type of fabric tape on them a long long time ago and there's still remnants of that on the back and underside. I just left it as is since it isn't harming anything there. Some old grain splitting on the back as you can see, looks like it's been that way for decades, isn't causing any issues. less
