Chinese export lacquer box, c.1850, standing on brass lion paw feet.
Good antique condition with a dark brown / black color and a lovely red color on the lid with hand painted accents.
The interior is lined in felt and would make a great jewelry box.
Has old restored shrinkage line on lid but doesn’t detract from the rest of the box.
