Add a touch of bold Russian style to your dining table with this exceptional pair of rare Russian Shabbat brass candlesticks selected from a large collection of European antique candlesticks. These solid cast brass candlesticks with baluster stems and footed domed bases add a certain allure to any mantel or tabletop with their bold and distinctive European design. They are identical and massive in size compared to other candlesticks from this period and their beauty has been enhanced with a rich patina. The sticks are in excellent antique condition with normal wear from age and use. The large hand-forged screws allow the stems to disassemble from the square bases. These fine candlesticks are indeed very characteristic of Russian design and quality craftsmanship prevalent in the second quarter of the 19th century.
