Circa 1810-1835.

In the ‘Lace Border’ series, the center image shows Windsor Castle, flying the flag to show the Monarch is in residence. A lake with sailing boats is in the foreground, surrounded by trees. A floral border with a lace-like background gives this series of patterns its name. A bittersweet red on an off-white body.

A charming pattern.

Made of earthenware with an underglaze tissue printed transfer, marked with a cartouche showing the pattern name and R.S. the initials of the maker.

9.5 inches in diameter x 1.0 inches high.
