The woman is holding a jug under the spout of a fountain; the spout is depicted as a lion mascaron. Beneath the lion spout are a pair of entwined stylized dolphins, and the fountain sits on top of a shaped pedestal. She is wearing a long dress with a shawl around her neck and shoulders, and she is looking down while standing on the fountain’s pedestal.

The surface color and details of the statue remain quite fresh and crisp considering the age. The artist (small signature visible on back) has done an excellent job portraying the flowing fabric of the woman’s dress and has added small details throughout, which are a joy to inspect. less
