This Lee Krasner Foundation Abstract Expressionist lithograph print poster " Gothic Landscape " 1961, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection. The lithograph print poster is printed in The United States in 2017 with the licensed rights of The Pollock Krasner Foundation. It features an artwork image originally created by Kranser in 1961 titled " Gothic Landscape ".
Lee Krasner ( 1908 - 1984 ) was an American Abstract Expressionist painter of a Russian jewish background. She worked in painting, collage, drawing, and occasionally mosaics. Often cutting apart her paintings to create collage paintings. Although her marriage to artists Jackson Pollock sometimes overshadows the value of her artwork, the gestural and expressive works are considered to be some of the most important Abstract paintings of The Twentieth Century. She is one of the few female artists to have had a retrospective exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
The Abstract Expressionist poster measures 36" W X 24" H. It is printed on high quality heavyweight smooth finish paper stock with vibrant ink colors in a satin finish.
