This is a Great Looking - Very Unusual Antique - Victorian Cast Iron Christmas Tree Stand. Marked in the Casting as Follows - MERK'S CHRISTMAS TREE HOLDER PATENTED SEPT. 1891. By Turning the Threaded Knob on the Bottom - Underside You Can Tighten - Clamp the Tree into Place. Also Note that this Mechanism Allows You to Turn - Rotate that Tree for Best Display Side. It still retains it Original Gold Painted Features that have Aged - Darkened to a Bronze Color. It is in Very Good - Functional Condition. No Damage or Repairs to the Castings.
It Measures 12 inches Tall x 11 1/2 inches Long - Wide at Base - Feet.
