It still has the original French polish and scratches throughout from the antiqueness. The ends of the arm rests have a few small chips on each side. There are no signs of mold or wood worms. The legs are complete and stable and are joined by a box stretcher. The underside of the stretchers has small round water stains possibly from humidity. The feet have casters that roll smoothly. The upholstery should be professionally cleaned. You can notice small white stains. This chair is stable and can be used daily. The upholstery is in good condition and has no rips, holes, or stains.
