Chinese framed porcelain dragon plaque, a finely carved, five clawed, imperial, sky dragon raising the ocean waves of the dragon gate for a giant carp to leap over and be transformed into a dragon himself, in a dark blue glazed, bas-relief, mounted on an ornately reticulated frame. Signed, with two finely carved seal marks and a six character Qianlong reign mark in Zhuanshu script, in the original, finely carved, Chinese, hongmu frame with the original Chinese bronze hanger. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century.
Porcelain plaque size is 18 1/2" high x 12" wide x 3/8" thick less
