The body of this gorgeous hinged … more Beautiful hinged penshell box with South African Turbo Sarmaticus Shell (Tiger Shell) sitting atop.
The body of this gorgeous hinged box is an iridescent coppery champagne light brown penshell. The tiger shell sits within a half inch mitered, angled border of brown, black, rust and ivory pearlized shell.
The entire inside of the box including top and sides is lined in brown velvet, as is the bottom of the piece. Brass hinges attach the top and bottom.
Measures 4.125” x 4.125” x 5.25”h
Excellent vintage condition. Originally purchased at Gumps San Francisco.
