- This is a terracotta tile with an old piece of felt on it. It features a lively chicken. The lines … more This is a terracotta tile with an old piece of felt on it. It features a lively chicken. The lines are different from newer tiles but the whimsical nature and glaze are the same. The tile has some crazing around the orange body of the chicken. He may have been used as a trivet. It is a six sided tile with each side being 6.5" long. The tile is also 6.5" across between sides. Perhaps you might find a place for him to continue growing older. less
