Beautiful portrait titled Ear of Corn, Sioux by Robert Floodstrand (American, 1929 - 1978). Titled and signed lower left. Framed. Image, 17.5"H x 13"W.
Floodstrand studied art at the Art Institute of Chicago, the University of Arizona and Northwestern University. While serving in the Army in Alaska during 1956, he painted many Alaskan landscapes and sold through two galleries in Anchorage. He created several hundred pastels, as well as oil portraits.
