A large Chinese export bowl profusely hand painted throughout with richly applied and colourful enamels.
Exotic butterflies, gourds, melons and flowers decorate the white porcelain body with traditional Ruyi shaped borders in pink and blue. Rings true and clear in sound. A lovely older piece marked Qianlong on the underside in red.
A colourful and decorative piece with some beautiful butterflies that comes with its own turned rosewood stand. The bowl has a wonderful clear ringing sound like a bell when tapped gently. Great fruit bowl or display piece. High quality solid Rosewood stand.
