With fabulous texture and moody colors, the artist captures the portrait of the quintessential Oklahoma cowboy.

This work of art is unframed and ready for framing.

This piece is by the late Oklahoma artist and retired Air Force man Clair Seglem. Seglem painted into his 90s before passing at his Oklahoma residence. He was known for his striking portraits and still life paintings.

The piece has been painted entirely in purple, and the subject was painted on top. Seglem used this method of covering his canvas first, before applying the figure on many of his paintings.
