Beautiful, all-original mid century Italian Murano art glass lamp likely either from Alfredo Barbini or Barovier & Toso . This lamp dates from the 1950s-1970s. It is amber glass with a tapering ribbed exterior and has the "Bullicante" bubble effect and subtle gold inclusions typical of the work both of Barbini and of Barovier & Toso. Remarkable is that it retains its original high-quality wooden mounts; all that is black in the photos is ebonized wood in beautiful, unrestored condition. Modern, simple shape. A fantastic lamp that is both collector’s item and a functional, decorative object. Purchased directly from an old estate.
Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or other damage. Original wooden mounts and paint are in near-perfect condition. Original wiring in working condition. All sides shown in photos.
