Maria Vittorio Di Carlo was born in San Marco, Italy and studied painting and drawing at the Bari Institute in Valenzano under Spizzico and De Robertis. He was recognized as an early proponent of the New Figurative Movement of the 1960's and exhibited internationally with success, both at one-man and group shows, including at the Fifth International Biennale in Bamberg, Germany. less
