Beautiful vintage lidded box. Handmade in Mexico by the Huichol. Each bead is set in wax and painstakingly placed into various colorful designs. Seed beads are now used but originally bits of bone, shell and rock were utilized. The container is made of wood with the beads decorating the outside. Perfect for a collector or to use for small jewelry such as earrings or desk supplies. Definitely will add a pop of color and visual interest to any space.
