This bamboo folk art piece was featured/photographed in an article in Architectural Digest (May, 1993) entitled "Antiques: Bamboo Artistry" (review the last three photographs to see a portion of the article/photograph as shown in the magazine). This beautiful basket is in good+ antique condition. There are natural imperfections to the bamboo and wood base but otherwise this piece is sturdy and displays beautifully. The basket was acquired from a collector located in Paris. Please see the last photograph to see where the collector's name was published.
