Vintage: C.1970's, Vintage Hollywood Regency era, Original French Manner of and in the style of Maison Bague`s, floor lamp. It is a gilt silver leaf, overlain on a triumvirate, of a solidly hand-forged body, metal frame, which mimics the much coveted, faux bamboo-style, with 3 splayed legs, that projects a sound and sturdy, sophistication with an eclectic design in this floor lamp. Timeless in it's style and production, as silver or gilt gold leaf, never loses it's worthiness in design periods and styles, especially in Furniture Design within the Interior/Architectural Domain. In addition, the floor lamp is inclusive of it's original, "as is found," condition, which includes the off-white lamp shade, original to the lamp. This floor lamp is of mind and body a substantial and weighted floor lamp, with plenty of panache and style galore. This floor lamp has been re-wired, as it had it's original 50's out of date wiring, in accordance with today's electrical safety standards.

The "only," modification was to update the electrical, by having it re-wired professionally, for safety from the old 1970''s wiring, including 2 new pulls, as one was missing, so we decided to have them match for uniformity sake. Also sockets are original, we only replaced interiors of the socket fronts ends of them, i.e up to date electrical code. The floor lamp frame has been well-maintained, with minor wear, indicative and normal, but altogether maintained very well.
The vendor has confirmed this piece is in working order. less
