A stunning vintage circa 1929 Silver Plated serving tray from The Savoy-Plaza Hotel in New York City. In excellent condition for its age, no dents or damage, just little marks and signs of use you would expect from old hotel silver that was used daily. Marked on the front with the hotel crest and underneath with the hotel name along with Gorham marks for the year 1929.
Measures 11.25 inches across by 1.25 inches deep, this tray has a 1 inch well so it may have originally been an oyster tray, as it could easily be filled with crushed ice to hold oysters or seafood. less
