Every grand entrance needs the ideal lighting fixture. This monumental pendant lantern style iconic mid-century brass, two-tiered chandelier is destined for a new home. Placement could be indoors in the foyer or perhaps outdoors under a covered entry or above an outdoor al fresco dining area of the garden patio. The classic brass toned chandelier has two cascading tiers including the higher rung with 4 faux candlesticks and the lower with 6. The 10 armed curio style chandelier is semi-encased in a octogonal birdcage shaped domed series of brass framed beveled glass panels. there are 8 rectangular panels each adorned with squiggling strands dotted with berries that dangle from top to bottom adding a beautiful artisanal touch. At the top of the dome above the rectangular sides are 8 shaped glass panels that start wide and become narrow at the top and thusly creating a rounded umbrella like crown. A round disc shaped plate with a ringed finial top has a 26" gold toned metal chain linked wire disguise to create a hanging swag if so desired. The beveled and etched glass is in excellent condition.
The bottom of the unit is open thus making it very easy to change bulbs when the occasion arises without having to unhook the fixture. less
