A round body with … Read more Beautiful piece of glazed pottery, it has a very unique shape that adds to its charm. A round body with a round lid that has an abstract like knob on the top, it is glazed and has a matte finish. It has a raw texture to the edges, and you can see the ridges where it would have been hand thrown. It is cream with large Areas of the gray clay visible. There is some green paint that was done on the sides that almost looks like a leaf and on the lid. The beautiful piece to display.

9 1/2 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches from diameter with the lid off it is 6 1/2 inches tall

There are two noted areas with imperfections one is on the lid handle and one is on the inside rim. I don’t know if these imperfections occurred when it was fired and due to some sort of pop in the clay or if it received a bump afterwards, and lost some surface area. There are photos for you to see, and they do not detract at all from the beauty of this piece. See less
