Gorgeous vintage Chippendale style rosewood secretary from Drexel Furniture circa late 1980s-early 1990s.
The upper (removable) section features a broken pediment top, glass doors, 3 shelves for books or to display china. Lighted interior with dimmer switch. Original brass escutcheons on the cabinet doors. 10” depth.
The lower desk portion has a fall front writing surface which folds down to reveal several small drawers and a cubby to store documents, stationary, etcetera. Support arms are pulled out to support the writing surface when in use. Three drawers with the original brass pulls and escutcheons are below the desktop. The elegant rosewood pattern and tones run throughout this beautiful piece.
Beautiful in a living room, library, or bedroom.
