Description: Original unused Mid-Century Modern design office desk calendar published by the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York for … more Original unused Mid-Century Modern design office desk calendar published by the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York for the year 1970. Notable designers' works featured including Marcel Breuer, Alvar Aalto, Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies van der Rohe and others. It is ingeniously crafted as individual large cards which fit together into a lucite slipcase cover. Each sheet features items from the collection of MOMA including furniture esp. chairs, decorative accessories, and other curated products exhibiting "modern" design. Though calendar has not been used or written on, it does show some signs of wear including light ruffling of the edge of the cover page, and some scuffs to the lucite cover. Excellent piece for study of mid-century modern design, much like a period reference book, with items featured dating from the 1930s up through the date of the calendar, 1970. less
