Born in the Western portion of India in the state of Gujarat, this exquisite hand carved temple sculpture features a female Hindu deity. Topped with a tall headdress, the deity is depicted in a frontal position, and is wearing a pair of earrings, a pearl necklace and a delicate dress, her feet crossed in front of her, while she is standing on a lotus flower.
