This exquisite Chinese armchair features a rectangular pierced back, elegantly adorned with a central splat accented with a carved medallion. The geometrical motifs depicted on the medallion are beautifully echoed on the skirt, carved with a frieze of Greek-key motifs. This subtle repetition of geometric motifs creates a delicate sense of harmony. Two curving open arms rest on a rectangular planked wooden seat, raised on four straight legs reinforced with side stretchers.
