Young & Sons manufactured high quality furniture alongside them from at least 1904 into the 1950s, producing high quality Arts & Crafts furniture with their small workforce of 12 to 14 workers. With a small output, their work maintained a high degree of quality like that seen in this small yet sturdy footstool. Simple in its beauty, this stool has stood the test of time as strongly as the day it was built; the simple brown leather top works well with the nicely-grained solid wood construction.
