Rare Fine Vintage Reproduction of 18th century Chinese Export Dog figurine from the collection of Mildred and Rafi Mottahedeh who founded the Mottahedeh china company. Beautifully hand decorated with accents of orange and shades of brown. They have a great look and feel like Vintage porcelain. Very detailed. Both are marked on the bottom with “Lowestoft Reproduction Created by Mottahedeh”. Original label “A Mottahedeh Design”. We are including images of a 1977 Mottahedeh Co. Catalog and 3 photos of the original from the classic book on Chinese Export Porcelain China for the West by David Howard and from the Sotheby’s catalog when the Mottachedeh collection was sold in 2000.
Excellent condition - no cracks or chips.
