Vintage California Pottery "Jacquin" Mosaic Crackle Glass Trinket/Cigarette/Ashtray Box. It is marked "Calif USA" ~ which was widely used in the 50's -60's by pottery companies in California (duh). Very fun colorful box. The box & ashtray are heavily "crazed", but that seems to be by design.
NOTE: There is a crack on one corner of the box base ~ see photos.

There is one crack in one of the corners on the base ~ see photos. Crazing, but seems to be by design. One corner is brown and sort of looks there was a leak, but there doesn't seem to be a crack in the mosaic ~ so I think it is just brown glass. Some discoloration on the ashtray where a cigarette would sit ~ again, see photos. less
