With the leaves extended, the table takes on a round shape, 36 inches in diameter. The leaves are supported by wooden slats that swing into place. The round turned legs give this piece a somewhat Sheraton style appeal. This table is in good antique condition. The right front leg has an old but sturdy repair; see photograph. The front hinge on the left-side leaf has a slight bit of play in it. There is age-appropriate wear to the top and finish. A beautiful and sturdy table ready for use. See less
