Vintage pair of black lacquerware trinket boxes with intricate mother of pearl and abalone inInlaid designs on the lids. This set includes two square, high glass lacquerware boxes with removable lids and small rubber feet on the bottoms. The lids have magnificently detailed scenes of birds on blooming branches with butterflies in the air. The designs are hand made from iridescent mother of pearl and abalone, contrasting beautifully from the black background of the boxes. Perfect for storage and display in your home. Excellent condition!
