This beautiful ginger jar … Read more Offering a vintage British Staffordshire style blue and white porcelain ginger jar, circa Late 20th century. This beautiful ginger jar consists of three scenes each framed with geometric borders below a floral and Putti design. The temple jar lid also has geometric designs and floral motifs. It is not hand painted but utilizes a "transferware" technique.

It is signed with the traditional unidentified coat of arms featuring two lions, a crown, a shield and banners. This symbol was used in 19th Century England, but it was commonly reproduced at later dates. Please keep in mind this jar was most likely made in the Late 20th Century.

EXCELENT CONDITION. No chips, no cracks., no flaws of any kind... just perfect!
