Richard Anuskiewicz (1930-2020) was a pioneer of Op Art creating dense abstract patterns and intense color contrasts. “Untitled (Red Square with Grid)” or “No. 1” is a part of the Series 6 Seritypien, a portfolio of 6 works. It is a screen print, and was created between 1960 and 1969. It is signed in the lower right.
