This large provincial armoire features a chapeau de gendarme crown above moulded, paneled doors in walnut and burled walnut with rare chinoiserie hinges, opening to reveal spacious storage with Three shelves and two drawers. Enough space for a television to hide behind doors. . Carved, shaped apron resting on short cabriole legs ending in scrolled French toes on pegs. A narrow and beautiful piece with a lovely patina and lots of character.

Ask for pictures if you cannot see it clearly or want to know more. The inside is all original but one shelf has been slightly modified to house a television and a small grommet hole is cut in the back to accommodate cords. this rare armoire is otherwise in wonderful condition with a beautiful satin waxed finish. less
