You'll either love this piece as we did, or not! But what's not to love about this vintage wooden country crate with raised legs. The yellow lettering against the charcoal black is enough to die for. Circa 1942, as we see on one side, the decoration continues on each side. Opposite the 1942 is wiggly lines, which are very southwestern? And the long sides include "Hands Off" & "Paul Giglia". Giglia Means lily in Italian.... Was this designed by Mr. Paul Giglia? Is it originally Italian? It's all shrouded in mystery.

This would make an amazing centerpiece, or side decor, where you can put old empty bottles of Italian wine, or flowers or plants, etc...

Circa: 1942
Condition: Very good and consistent with age.
