Woven Sailboat Tapestry pillow cover is inspired by a wooden model of a vintage historical sailing ship embroidery ~ DUTCH BRIGANTINE 1660 that emotes perfectly a stormy day out at sea.
The brigantine was the second most popular type of ship built in the American colonies before 1775. It was a vessel that could be of various sizes, usually in the range of 30 to 150 tons burden, generally a two masted ship, square-rigged on the foremast, and having a fore-and-aft main sail on the main mast and a square main topsail. After 1720 the main square topsail was omitted in most brigantines.

Reverse stands out with a lovely Premium Upholstery Jacquard fabric in Aqua Green color, matching with the front side and beautifying the ensemble.
The Piping or the Cording, PROFESSIONALLY handcrafted, contrasts the brightness of the piping with the old style to embellish and highlight the pillow, are sewn in all the seams. I used an exquisite shiny twist cord which combines three colors: dark blue, light blue and gold, coordinating perfectly with the front fabric. I put my labor at the junction of the cord that the pipping looks like a continuous visual line (no end) on the outside of the seam and instead do NOT see TWO LINES (two ends).
Easy removal and perfect termination with a matching INVISIBLE ZIPPER, sewn at the bottom of the back side.
