The painting is … Read more This artwork is painted with gouache, which is an opaque watercolor done in an impressionist contemporary style. The painting is of historic brownstone buildings popular on the East Coast and does not appear to be signed. The gouache measures 6" high by 8" wide and is painted on a heavy watercolor board, mounted on a white mat board with a grey mat board boarder. The silver leafed frame molding measures 3.75" wide. The overall measurements of the frame are 14.75" high by 17.5" wide, and includes the glass (which was removed for photographing). The last picture has the glass on. The frame has some nicks and minor discoloring. See less
