Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown purple and gold flecks Italian art glass footed, with fan shape rim decorative flower vase. Documented to designer Ercole Barovier, for the Barovier e Toso company. The vase is created in the "Zebrati" design, with purple swirling stripes throughout the inside of the vase, and the "Cordonato d'Oro" technique on the outside. It has a ribbed body design, and sits on a circular foot. The vase is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf throughout. Very unusual shape, with curled ends at the sides of the rim. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Mid-century era. Measures: 7 1/4" tall x 5" across the rim x 4 3/4" wide at the body.
