These traces, once hidden beneath the surface, carried the weight of memory, echoing lives once lived and stories nearly erased.

In these paintings, I use those found wall images as a foundation but extend the idea further, layering paint, texture, and form to explore the ephemeral nature of memory. Much like the walls of that old house, our personal and collective histories are built upon layers—some visible, others buried beneath time. The works in this series aim to evoke the tension between preservation and loss, between what is remembered and what fades.

By exposing these hidden remnants, the paintings suggest that our past is never truly gone; it lingers beneath the surface, waiting to be rediscovered. Each piece is an act of excavation—revealing, transforming, and reimagining the imprints of time. See less
