Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art of arranging natural elements (flowers et al) to express harmony, peace and beauty. This art form is influenced by the simplicity and minimalism of Buddhism. This wide, low vase reflects the Moribana style. It has a lovely polished black finish offset by metallic gold abstracts. Stamped (illegibly) by the Thai artisan.
