Offering a TALL pair of vintage Maitland Smith black marble and bronze patina buffet lamps with vintage beaded shades, circa Late 20th Century. These luxury classic lamps are composed of black marble and bronze patinated metal. Signed with Maitland Smith label on the bottom of both lamps. Also, the brass turnkeys on the sockets have the traditional "MS" logo. The shades are not original to the lamps but give the lamps an elegant appearance and we are including them in the sale.
DESIGNER/DECORATOR READY.
The center portion of this lamp is a black and white marble post supported upon a patinated bronze Neoclassical base which has laurel wreath designs on all sides, a border of egg and tongue architectural design and four large clawed feet, making this lamp heavy and extremely sturdy. Felt pads to protect your surfaces.
EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. Original polarized electrical cords and solid brass sockets are in excellent working condition.
VINTAGE SHADES ARE INCLUDED. They are a dark brown bell-shaped lampshades decorated with a fringe of beads. (See photo). Original harps and finials included.
