What makes this object special, in addition to the caliber of its makers, is the Battuto technique, which was performed on a 5 cm thick ground glass, creating a very finely executed edge of one of the most complex glassmaking techniques, that is, hitting the hot glass with a hammer to leave a texture imprinted.
Made of dark blue glass of considerable thickness, which allows for wonderful plays of light, it is in perfect condition, without marks or chips, with some tiny signs of use given that it is more than 60 years old.
