A set of 4 French dining chairs attributed to Pierre Cardin for Roche Bobois in the 1970s. These striking chairs feature polished wood frames in a warm, honey hue and retain their original black leather upholstery. Drawing inspiration from the "Africa" chair by Afra & Tobia Scarpa, the silhouettes are characterized by their sculptural backrest - four stratified joints elegantly connect the two curved profile sides. France, 1970s.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Minor marks along the wooden frames, as shown in photos. The leather seats display light dents, cracking, and scuffs that align with age and use. Two of these chairs include old repairs.
