- A rare model of a store scale manufactured by the Salter company in England at the end of the 19th … more A rare model of a store scale manufactured by the Salter company in England at the end of the 19th century. It has a cast iron frame with a round brass dial. The dial reads"Salter Trade Spring Balance, No 111T, Made in England, To Weigh 100# by 1/2 lb". There is also a Salter Logo cast into the castiron weigh plate. It has been professionally restored in England and retains its original faux bronze finish. One of the corners of the weigh plate is missing. less
