The print features warm, rich shades of beige, umber, cinnamon, brown, and black. It is triple matted and the outer, largest mat has the look of suede or leather. The wood frame looks like a faux finish of Sapele wood, which is found in Africa. The wood frame’s rich tones complement the antelope, and the black spots on it complement the cheetah.

The frame measures 32” wide by 20” high and 1” deep. The print is matted to 22” wide by 10” high.
The print depicts two antelopes running for their lives from a lone cheetah. At first glance, we found it strange that the cheetah was closing in on the antelope that was in the lead, when the second one was closer, but then we thought, who are we to question how a cheetah puts dinner on the table?? Upon closer inspection, it seems the cheetah chose to go after the one in the lead, and the one in second place took that opportunity to go veering off towards the left to try to escape.

I do not feel optimistic for either of the antelopes, dear reader, for if you look into the antelopes’ eyes, you can see they both have a vacant, hopeless look in their eyes that clearly shows they’re about to give up. The cheetah, on the other hand, has a steely gaze and knows what’s for dinner. This is a beautiful print, even if you’re vegetarian like us!
