This is a beautiful set of antique silverplate lobster picks - lobster forks. Matched set of 12. Each engraved - decorated with a lobster and shell motif. They were made in Austria by the well known and documented maker art Krupp Berndorf ( Arthur Krupp Berndorf ). They have the documented maker mark that was used by Berndorf between 1891 and 1927 - these being made in the very early 1900s. This is a very fine quality - well made set. They are built strong with a substantial weight and a heavy silver plated finish. Base metal appears to be a hard white metal - most likely nickel silver.
Each measures 8 1/8 inches long x 3/4 inch wide x 1/4 inch tall.
The set is in very good condition but it could use a good cleaning - buffing - polishing.
