Made in Massachusetts by Van Cort Instruments, this brass nautical map magnifying glass is a handsome and unusual decor object for your vignette. Can be raised or lowered to increase or decrease magnification.
According to their website, Van Cort Instruments, started in 1979, is a small business which seeks to recreate old and antique models of "telescopes, kaleidoscopes and odd and curious devices of brass, wood, ivory, silver and all sorts of optical components."
