This vintage Revere Copper silent butler reflects mid-century American dining service, designed for clearing crumbs discreetly between courses.
The object forms an oval copper pan with a hinged lid and a mounted wood handle for directional control during table service. The copper body and riveted construction align with postwar production by Revere Copper & Brass, a corporate successor to the historic operation associated with Paul Revere.
The scale and profile identify a functional tabletop implement rather than a display vessel, produced for formal domestic dining environments in the 1950s. Its closed-lid format contains debris for transport away from the table.
Provenance details unknown; acquired directly from a Northern California collection.
